Causes of chain deviation and adjustment methods

Time:2023-11-21 Views:1

Heavy plate feeder (hereinafter referred to as heavy plate) is a mechanism that chain wheel drives chain, and chain plate (conveyor trough) is installed on two chains to transport materials. Its daily transportation volume can reach more than 10,000 tons, which is suitable for working conditions such as large particle size, wet, hot and hard materials, and can also be transported at a large angle (25 ° inclination). Compared with the belt conveyor, it is not easy to deviate, but once deviated, it is not easy to adjust. In addition, since the material carrier is not viscoelastic tape, once it deviates, the chain plate and skirt plate will wear each other.

No deviation occurs during no-load test run in the factory. In February 2015, the site heavy load test run was started. In April 2015, it was found that the gap between the feeder sprocket and chain on the left side of the running direction of the conveyor was too small or worn. The surface hardness near the sprocket tooth shape is HRC50~55, the chain rail surface hardness is HRC50~58, and the surface hardness is HB331~375. As can be seen from Figure 2, because the surface hardness near the chain rail surface and sprocket tooth shape is similar, the most serious chain rail surface and sprocket of Unit 4 wear each other as smooth as a mirror; Also, because the hardness of the inner side of the chain rail surface is relatively soft compared with the gear teeth, the sprocket gear teeth grind the inner side of the chain to produce grooves.
