The FU chain conveyor, as a horizontal conveying equipment for powdered, granular, and small block materials, has been widely used in the ash transportation of cement kiln waste heat power generation kiln tail boiler. The principle of conveying materials is that after the materials enter the tail of the zipper machine through the feeding port, they use the same internal friction force and pressure between the materials, as well as the pulling force in the same direction as the movement brought by the conveyor chain, to move the materials forward to the feeding port and then to the next process. During the movement of the conveyor chain, the entire chain forms a conveying transmission through the upper and lower guide rails, the head active sprocket, and the tail passive sprocket. In order to keep the chain head and tail in the same straight line and reduce friction, a rotatable support roller group is set up near the front of the active sprocket, which plays a guiding and supporting role. The roller group consists of guide wheels, roller shafts, and bearing seats. The bearing seats are usually FL type spherical bearing seats with flanges, which are tightly fixed to the zipper housing.

The outlet temperature of the exhaust gas from the pure low-temperature waste heat power generation kiln tail boiler of the cement kiln is generally designed to be around 200 , so the ash return temperature of the kiln tail boiler is relatively high. After measurement, the ash return temperature of our company's kiln tail boiler is maintained between 190 and 210 . The ash return of the high-temperature boiler will cause the lubricating oil of the supporting wheel bearing of the FU chain conveyor in the kiln tail boiler to quickly carbonize, causing lubrication failure and even burning out the bearing seal. In practical applications, once the seal between the shaft and the housing is not tight, materials are prone to enter the bearing through its gaps, causing damage to the bearing and preventing the support wheel from rotating freely. This will cause long-term contact and friction between the chain and the supporting roller at a certain point. Prolonged operation will cause the top of the supporting roller to grind flat and fail to provide guidance, and the frictional resistance will gradually increase, ultimately leading to the scrapping of the guiding roller, causing the conveyor to be unable to function properly and directly affecting normal production; Due to the bearing seat being tightly attached to the zipper housing, it is not easy to repair the damaged bearing.

In actual use, due to the above-mentioned defects in the existing conveyor roller group, after continuous exploration, the original roller group was modified and a roller shaft that can extend 30-40mm on both sides of the zipper machine shell was redesigned. The roller is still installed on the shaft, and the center of the roller shaft's section direction coincides with the center of the roller's section direction. A set of bearing seat bases fixed on both sides of the shell was added, The original FL type bearing seat was replaced with UCP outer spherical bearing seat. After the above transformation, the bearing of the supporting roller group is no longer tightly attached to the conveyor shell, avoiding lubrication failure and reducing bearing damage caused by shell ash leakage. This not only ensures that the supporting roller can rotate normally, but also facilitates maintenance and repair. Due to the lengthening and modification of the shaft, the bearing seat is not directly installed on the housing. When the sealing of the conveyor housing is not tight and material leaks or ash runs out, only the sealing needs to be replaced
