There are four ways to troubleshoot the cause of the ultrasonic overload alarm:
1. No-load test: If the current is normal, it may be that the ultrasonic welding head is in contact with an object that should not be touched or the parameter adjustment between the ultrasonic welding head and the welding seat is faulty. This can be solved by adjusting.
2. The no-load test is abnormal: first observe whether the ultrasonic mold is cracked and tightened, then remove the ultrasonic welding head and then perform the no-load test to rule out whether there is a problem with the transducer or the horn, and eliminate it step by step. After eliminating the possibility of failure of the transducer or horn, replace the new ultrasonic welding head for judgment.
3. Sometimes the no-load test is normal, but it does not work normally. It may be that the interior of the acoustic energy element such as the ultrasonic welding head has changed, resulting in poor acoustic energy transmission.
4. Hand touch method: Judgment method. Normally working ultrasonic molds or horns have very uniform amplitude when working on the surface. They are velvety and smooth to the touch. When the sound energy is not transmitted smoothly, there will be bubbles or burrs when you touch them. It is necessary to use the exclusion method to eliminate the problematic parts. The same can happen when the ultrasonic generator is abnormal, because normally the input waveform of the transducer should be detected as a smooth sine wave. This phenomenon can also occur when there are spikes or abnormal waveforms on the sine wave. At this time, it can be replaced by another whole ultrasonic energy element for discrimination.
